LERNI is the original drumstick brand from Moridaira Musical Instruments in Japan. Since the 1990s, Moridaira has brought legendary names like DW, LP, Promark and Paiste to drummers across the country. Our close ties with drum artists revealed that drummers were looking for sticks with very specific feel and sound. LERNI was born from that need.

We design each new drumstick model based on extensive input from professional drummers. Once the designs are complete, each drumstick is precisely shaped and only those passing strict inspections at every stage of production are shipped.

Today LERNI has over 200 endorsed artists and are still crafted entirely in Japan. Since Japan is extremely humid during the summer, we stop production when the humidity is too high to prevent cracking and brittleness during the drying process. We also limit our supply to only the heavy and densest batches from our suppliers to ensure the longevity of our sticks.
